How to make a booking
To find out if the date you wish to book is available, please complete and submit all sections of the booking enquiry form below. Please indicate in the “Reason for Hire” if you require use of the sound system or if you require bar facilities.
Our Lettings Coordinator, Elizabeth, will contact you within 3 working days to confirm availability and provide a quotation for the applicable hourly rate. Elizabeth will be happy to help you and answer any questions you have. Once you confirm that you wish to proceed, a Hire Agreement Form will be provided; your booking will be confirmed once we receive the signed Hire Agreement Form accepting our terms and conditions(*). The Hire Agreement will be forwarded to our Bookkeeper who will subsequently send an invoice setting out how and when payment must be made. Your booking may be forfeited if payment is not received as indicated in the invoice.
Please note that the management of the hall is undertaken by volunteers.
(*) Hirers must be over the age of 18.
Prices & Other Information
The rates for hiring the hall are priced per hour and are as follows:
Monday to Thursday, from 7am to 10pm
- Commercial: £16
- Standard: £13
- Long Melford residents: £10 (Private Hire only)
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 7am until midnight:
- Commercial: £19
- Standard: £16
- Long Melford residents: £13 (Private Hire only)
A full refund will only be given if a cancellation is made more than 30 days before a booking. Please see the Terms and Conditions below for full details.
