This year we have more gardening groups than ever – the Nature Reserves Working Group, Melford in Bloom, the Biodiversity Group and the organisers of Open Gardens. Members of each group will be delighted to talk about their activities in the village and see whether you might be tempted to join them.
The seed swap is an opportunity to catch up with local gardeners or just come in for a cuppa and cake. Back by popular demand, we also have the gardening themed tombola, not to be missed!
If you don’t have any saved or spare seeds, please don’t let that prevent you from coming; we have several hundred packets of seeds available, and plenty more will arrive on the day. You’re very welcome to help yourself to whatever you fancy from our huge selection and just make a small donation. We have an extensive choice of herb seeds, practically every type of vegetable seed you can think of, as well as an enormous range of ornamentals.
Refreshments are available.
