Enriching Life Through the Arts
11:00 – 12:00 noon
3rd WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH
Have you been missing your usual visits to exhibitions and broadening your knowledge of the arts in the last 2 years? You can now come to Long Melford Village Hall to share your curiosity for the arts by hearing and seeing an exciting, diverse programme of illustrated talks given by speakers who are experts in their chosen field. You may even recognise some from The Antiques Roadshow, others as broadcasters on Radios 3 and 4 – chosen for their knowledge, presentational skills and entertainment value, on topics ranging from the science behind the art of Leonardo da Vinci; 20th century silver jewellery; to the musical instruments shown in art (with live demonstrations).
We are a welcoming and friendly society (affiliated to the national charity The Arts Society). Membership includes 10 lectures a year; a quarterly Arts Magazine plus the option of day visits to places of interest and longer Special Interest talks at a small additional cost.
Doors open at 10:20 on lecture days when tea and coffee will be served.
You are welcome to try a FREE taster session by emailing your request to: info@tasstourvalley.org.uk
